Read this first: why there is no single global calendar

Whiteout Survival does not start its recurring events on the same calendar day for every state (server). Scheduling rolls with each state's age and unlock progress, so two states opened at different times can sit in completely different event phases on the same day. Four rules explain how to use a calendar here.

01

Events roll with state progress

Most recurring events are scheduled by each state's opening date and unlock conditions. Brand-new states run an opening event sequence first, while veteran states settle into a stable rotation phase — so the same event starts on different dates in different states.

02

What generalizes is the pattern, not the date

Stack every state's schedule together and the shared structure is stable: a daily reset, weekly fixtures, roughly bi-weekly and monthly events, and a 4-week alliance mega-cycle on veteran states. Learn the pattern, then read your own state's calendar to predict the next window.

03

How to check your own state's calendar

In game, the calendar entry inside the Events hub previews the events already scheduled for your state and their start times — that is the most accurate source. Official social channels post a monthly reference calendar at the start of each month, always with the note that in-game notices are final.

04

Festivals and major events run near-globally

Lunar New Year, the anniversary, Halloween, and Christmas events follow real-world holidays and open across states at nearly the same time; participation requirements can still vary with state progress, for example a minimum state age for newer servers.

02

Weekly fixtures

These rhythms repeat every week (or day) once unlocked and form the backbone of daily and alliance planning. The exact weekday and time slot is set by each state and alliance.

Event / rhythmCadenceWhat matters
Daily reset Every day at 00:00 UTC Personal points, daily tasks, and event shop progress reset at midnight UTC. Convert to your local time once and set reminders so you never waste speedups right before a reset or miss a claim.
Bear Trap (community name: Bear Hunt) Alliance-scheduled, ~47-hour cooldown Scheduled manually by alliance leadership (R4/R5) in the alliance events panel, commonly between 13:00–22:00 UTC to cover time zones; a single run lasts about 30 minutes, and the rally captain and trap level drive damage.
Alliance Championship Weekly Alliance bracket battles that run weekly; morale and hero picks are coordinated alliance-wide.
Fortress Battle Weekly Regular alliance fights over map fortresses that provide steady resources and bonuses for the alliance.
Foundry Battle Regular (often bi-weekly rhythm) Alliance attack-and-defense gameplay around the Foundry; together with Fortress Battle it forms the everyday map contention line. Exact slots follow your state's calendar.

Because alliance leadership picks the time, "which day we hunt bears" differs from alliance to alliance — always follow your own alliance announcements.

03

Bi-weekly and monthly events

Personal and alliance progression events rotate on a two-week to one-month rhythm and are the spending windows for hoarded tickets and materials. Frequencies are the commonly observed community baseline; individual states can drift.

EventTypical cadenceWhat matters
Crazy Joe About every two weeks Cooperative alliance defense with 20 waves: most waves hit chiefs' cities while waves 10 and 20 attack the Alliance HQ. Opened by alliance leadership, often on a Tuesday or Thursday; shields do not work, so march planning and reinforcements are the core of scoring.
Lucky Wheel About every two weeks, ~3 days Spin-and-milestone event: one free Lucky Chip daily, up to 150 spins per day, with the milestone bar shared across the whole event. Hoard chips and Gems for the next rotation and spend them together for better value.
Frostfire Mine One day every two weeks Solo PvP gathering race, 30 minutes per match, unlocked at Furnace level 16; on the open day you can pick a session — clear the milestones first, then push the ranking.
Fishing Tournament Monthly Ice-fishing event where fish bait regenerates 1 every 3 hours (10 max); points feed milestones and rankings while tokens upgrade gear, and the rotating season affects the fish album.
Mia's Fortune Hut Monthly Ten-orb wish event: pick your wish reward, then reveal orbs — the tenth orb guarantees it. Costs rise with each reveal, so plan your wish tickets before opening.
Dreamscape Memory Recurring Chapter-based event wandering through dreams with the cat to reclaim memories; returns with patches and event windows and ran several times during 2026.
Alliance Mobilization 7-day seasons, new season about every two weeks Shared alliance mission event: alliance points unlock reward tiers for everyone, while personal rewards also require your own score; needs Furnace level 10 and a 15-member alliance, and switching alliances ends your season participation.
Officer Project / Armament Competition Alternating, 4-slot cycle of ~4 weeks A paired two-day point event: Armament Competition scores design plans and Fire Crystals while Officer Project scores gear materials and troop training; the full cycle repeats roughly every four weeks, usually anchored around the SvS prep period.
Rotating mini events Irregular Smaller solo events such as Snowbusters, Vision of Dawn, and Treasure Hunter slot in around patches and festival windows, each running 3–7 days; watch the Events hub previews.

Hoarding tips: Lucky Chips, wish tickets, and most event currencies expire with the event — only items the panel says carry over survive between rotations. Progression materials (Essence Stones, Exclusive Gear Widgets, Mithril) are the opposite: save them off-cycle and spend inside the event window.

04

The veteran-state 4-week mega-cycle

States past their opening sequence usually roll the big alliance events on an ~4-week cycle. The typical community-mapped phases follow. Note that states with different ages or merge histories start at different points: "week N" means position inside the cycle, not week N of a calendar month.

  1. Phase 1 1/4

    Alliance Showdown

The monthly alliance-versus-alliance window and usually the first big alliance event of the cycle, with the whole alliance stacking showdown points.

  2. Phase 2 2/4

    King of Icefield

A 7-day personal point event with one stage per day (training, speedups, enhancement themes) and up to 14 Medals of Honor per run; it replaces the rookie-era Hall of Chiefs.

  3. Phase 3 3/4

    Alliance Mobilization

The 7-day alliance mission season, staggered against Alliance Showdown and King of Icefield; some states run it on a two-week season cadence, which can pull this phase earlier.

  4. Phase 4 4/4

    State vs State (SvS)

The cross-state war: about 5 prep days decide the attacker role, then the Sunfire Castle fight settles the outcome across roughly 10 days total; the next cycle begins afterwards. Officer Project / Armament Competition usually bracket the prep period.

The phase order is the common community mapping — on some states Alliance Mobilization and Alliance Showdown swap places or fold into other weeks. Treat your own state's event calendar preview as authoritative.

05

Rookie-server timeline: the opening sequence

A brand-new state does not jump straight into the 4-week mega-cycle. It runs an opening sequence first and unlocks alliance-tier and cross-state play as the state ages. The table below is the common timeline; exact weeks float with state progress.

StageEvents and milestones
From week 1 Opening themed ladder series
Themed ladder events such as Be Prepared, Full Arms, Overtime, Power Boost, Town Development, and Beast Cleanup rotate around construction, research, training, and beast hunting, paired with 7-day sign-in, first-charge, and top-up rewards for new states.
Early state age Hall of Chiefs, in repeating rounds
A personal point event that switches scoring themes daily and usually opens several times before SvS unlocks; the official overview lists it as a monthly event with daily stage rankings.
From about week 12 King of Icefield replaces Hall of Chiefs
The Chinese official encyclopedia places the switch around state week 12; the real timing follows overall state progress and can land earlier or later.
Grouped by state age State vs State enters the 4-week cycle
States are matched in groups by opening date; once matched, each round of "prep + Sunfire Castle battle" repeats about every four weeks. When a new state first gets matched depends on group progress.
State progress milestones State immigration and state merges
Diversion and merge mechanics that open across the server lifecycle; batches and conditions follow official announcements, usually with a heads-up and preparation period before a merge.

The first two weeks on a new state are about maxing the construction and research tracks and climbing the opening ladders — see the in-site server rush guide for the full pacing.

One headline event usually rotates every two weeks (starting Monday 00:00 UTC) and festival events follow real-world holidays. The table lists headline events only — recurring fixtures like Crazy Joe and Lucky Wheel keep rotating under the patterns above and are not repeated row by row.

Late August and beyond: official social channels post a monthly reference calendar at the start of each month, and the in-game calendar previews your state's scheduled events. By past-year pattern, expect Halloween around late October and Christmas in December — official announcements are final.

FAQ

The questions players ask most about event scheduling. The core principle, once more: patterns generalize, dates are per-state.

Why do my state's event times differ from the calendar?

Recurring events roll with state age, and states start the rotation at different points. The patterns on this page (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, the 4-week cycle) apply everywhere, but for concrete dates trust the in-game calendar for your own state.

When can a new state join State vs State (SvS)?

States are matched into groups by opening date; once matched, each "prep + Sunfire Castle" round repeats about every four weeks. New states usually go through the opening ladders and Hall of Chiefs rounds first — exact matching time depends on group progress, so check your state's calendar preview.

Why does Bear Trap start at a different time every week?

Bear Trap is scheduled manually by alliance leadership (R4/R5) with roughly a 47-hour cooldown between runs. The slot is entirely your alliance's choice, commonly between 13:00–22:00 UTC to cover time zones — follow your alliance announcements.

Do festival events open for every state at the same time?

Festival and major themed events follow real-world holidays and open across states at nearly the same time, but participation requirements can vary with state progress (for example a minimum state age). Lunar New Year, the anniversary, Halloween, and Christmas all work this way.

What events are coming for the rest of 2026?

Official social channels post a monthly reference calendar at the start of each month, and the in-game calendar previews your state's schedule. By past-year pattern, Halloween lands in late October and Christmas in December, with one headline event rotating roughly every two weeks — official announcements are final.

When do events reset, and how do I convert UTC?

Personal points, daily tasks, and shop progress reset at 00:00 UTC every day. Convert the offset to your local time once with your device clock or a search engine; regions with daylight saving shift by one hour when it toggles.

Conventions and open items

These entries record the points this page could not fully verify. They are not gameplay conclusions — they document the edge of what is confirmed and will be updated as sources are checked.

  • Spring Festival main phase follows the official social posts (Feb 15 00:00 – Feb 21 23:59 UTC); the community archive lists the full window as Feb 14–23, which should include warm-up and wrap-up.
  • The 3rd Anniversary main phase follows the official social posts (Mar 6–12 UTC); the community archive lists Mar 4–16, which should include warm-up and wrap-up.
  • Alliance Mobilization cadence differs between sources: the in-site guide says 7-day seasons with a new season every two weeks, while the community 4-week map slots it into the monthly cycle; the page states both and defers to your state's calendar.
  • The Chinese master renders the following 2026 events with descriptive names plus the original English title, because no verified Simplified Chinese UI name exists: Tundra Scroll, Lanterns of Blessing, the Easter egg matrix, the skins gallery, the penguin ice-ball event, the football-themed event, Exalted Troops, Tundra Arms League, Winter Siege, and Twin Star Adventure.
  • No official Chinese name for the Icefire Warhymn League could be verified, and the in-site event database has no Chinese entry for it.
  • The April hero batch (Seigel, Ursar, Aisling) has an unverified generation and carries no generation label; the March batch (Estrella, Viveca, Hank) was cross-checked as Generation 15, while community sources mark January as Generation 14 and July as Generation 17.
  • The fixed weekday for in-state Sunfire Castle contests could not be verified from a reliable source, so it is not listed in the weekly fixtures table.
