State Transfer Impact Guide
Review resets, event settlements, resource losses, and carry-over rules before moving to another state.
Key takeaway
A state transfer does not preserve every progress item unchanged. Core growth usually carries over, while Arena, rankings, group chats, and some events reset or settle immediately. Whether an event continues usually depends on the target state having the same content open.
City, social, and core data
- Your city moves to a random wilderness location in the target state and receives a 24-hour shield.
- You automatically leave all current group chats. If another chief has the same name, you must rename and receive a rename card.
- Daily mission progress carries over. Personal city buffs remain, while state-wide buffs follow the target state.
Immediate resets and rankings
- Arena points reset to 1,000 and rankings are cleared before you compete in the target state.
- Your data is removed from the original state rankings. Target-state rankings update after login or on the next daily refresh, depending on the board.
- Events such as Armament Competition and Officer Project settle personal milestone rewards immediately and clear ranking data.
Event settlement and carry-over
- Events such as Hall of Heroes, Fishing Tournament, and Endless Journey may settle immediately. Paid and free passes have different mail compensation rules.
- Journey of Light, Dawn Vision, Mia’s Fortune Hut, and Treasure Hunter generally preserve core progress when the target state has the event open.
- If the target state has not opened the event, it closes or settles during transfer and earned unclaimed rewards are usually mailed.
Resources, items, packs, and shops
- Unsecured resources above storehouse protection are lost. Secured resources and unopened resource items in your backpack are unaffected.
- Some limited-time items are reclaimed when their event closes, including Treasure Roses, action cards, Adventure Coins, fuel, and snow-removal kits. Use or exchange them first.
- Most shop data and purchase limits carry over. Some pack purchase counts reset, while weekly cards, monthly cards, and triggered packs usually retain their status.
Alliance and cross-state events
- A matched Alliance Championship team may still fight, but a transferred player cannot receive rewards because registration belongs to the old alliance.
- Alliance Mobilization settles or resets according to whether both states have the event open; ranking rewards generally cannot follow you across states.
- Alliance Showdown, Canyon Clash, and Foundry Battle eligibility depends on alliance join time, registration phase, and successful registration, so transfer timing matters.
Target-state progress controls access
- Many events follow the target state schedule after transfer and may continue, allow another purchase, or remain closed.
- Even when both states have the same event open, personal progress, rankings, attempts, shops, and passes may use different carry-over rules.
- Compare both states’ event calendars before choosing a transfer time.
Pre-transfer checklist
- Claim all completed event rewards.
- Use limited-time items that may be reclaimed and finish event shop exchanges.
- Reduce unsecured resources to the storehouse protection limit.
- Check alliance event registration, matchmaking, and settlement times.
- Capture screenshots of passes, packs, rankings, and event progress for later verification.
- After arrival, check mail, event pages, rankings, and shop purchase limits.
Rules may change by transfer batch, state progress, or game version. Treat the transfer screen, in-game mail, and customer support as the final authority.
