Four training rules

Priority is not an absolute power ranking. Start with your roster gaps, spending plan, and battle goals.

01

Start with your weakest troop type

A formation needs one Infantry, Lancer, and Marksman hero. Avoid putting every resource into the same troop type.

02

Match spending to the source

Hall of Heroes picks are often strong but expensive; Daily Deals lean toward garrison; Lucky Wheel heroes are the most sustainable for F2P and low spenders.

03

Plan rallies and garrisons separately

Rallies value damage, attack, and lethality; garrisons rely more on health, defense, and damage reduction. Do not judge every hero by one standard.

04

Watch the next replacement

Before using universal shards or exclusive gear materials, check whether the next generation brings a stronger hero with the same troop type and role.

Generations 1 to 17

Training focus by generation

Priority shows the recommended investment order for that generation. A low-priority hero can still be worth building for a roster gap or a specific event.

Open a generation to compare hero priority and the reason behind it.

01 Generation 1 Train first Jeronimo

Jeronimo is the strongest long-term damage pick but is expensive. Low spenders can choose Natalia or Zinman; F2P players should prioritize Molly and Jessie.

02 Generation 2 Train first Alonso

Alonso strengthens rallies and Philly improves garrison durability. F2P and low spenders can train Flint through the Lucky Wheel.

03 Generation 3 Train first Logan

Logan is the defense-first choice, while Mia and Greg trade consistency for a higher rally ceiling. Avoid overinvesting before Generation 4.

04 Generation 4 Train first Reina

Reina is for rally offense and Ahmose for garrison durability. Lynn is lower priority because the powerful Marksman Gwen arrives in Generation 5.

05 Generation 5 Train first Gwen

Gwen is the standout rally Marksman and Norah updates the garrison Lancer slot. Train Hector mainly if your Infantry line is still weak.

06 Generation 6 Train first Wu Ming

Wu Ming works in both rallies and garrisons; Renee is the more accessible rally option. Edith may replace Wu Ming in the next generation.

07 Generation 7 Train first Edith

Edith is the safest first hero to train for garrison durability. Gordon serves rallies, while Bradley is a useful Lucky Wheel Marksman for F2P accounts.

08 Generation 8 Train first Hendrik

Hendrik is the first choice for rallies. Train Gatot only when you need a garrison Infantry upgrade and Edith is not already well developed.

09 Generation 9 Train first Magnus

Magnus anchors garrisons and Fred is an F2P-friendly rally Lancer. Xura is optional when you specifically need a garrison Marksman.

10 Generation 10 Train first Freya

Freya supports garrison defense; Blanchette supports rally damage and is available from the Lucky Wheel. Gregory is squeezed between stronger Infantry generations.

11 Generation 11 Train first Rufus

Rufus serves rallies and Eleonora is the low-cost garrison priority. Consider Lloyd only when your Lancer roster is behind.

12 Generation 12 Train first Hervor

Hervor strengthens garrison defense and Karol strengthens rallies. Ligeia is a specialist for damage-focused garrison events such as Crazy Joe.

13 Generation 13 Train first Gisela

Gisela is the clear first choice for garrison success. Vulcanus and Flora are less specialized, so skip them when earlier heroes already cover their roles.

14 Generation 14 Train first Dominic

Dominic is the rally specialist and Elif the garrison specialist. Cara is optional when your Marksman roster needs an update.

15 Generation 15 Train first Viveca

Viveca is the easy-to-use rally damage priority; Estrella performs in damage-focused garrison events. Hank’s Expedition and exclusive gear effects do not align well.

16 Generation 16 Train first Sigur

Sigur is the garrison choice and Ashlyn supports allied damage. Wultaur is mainly worthwhile when you need a strong Exploration battle buffer.

17 Generation 17 Train first Elino

Elino is the top rally damage choice, especially for Bear Hunt. Bersa is the garrison damage option for Crazy Joe; Aidan is lower priority.

The hero meta changes with game updates, server age, and personal development. Use these priorities to plan resources, not as a claim that lower-priority heroes are unusable.
