Frostfire Mine
Compete for Orichalcum in a 30-minute battlefield. Build your skill route early, then contest Erupting Veins and the Refinery during their short windows.
How to play a match
Use the opening to scout and assign marches by timing instead of forcing early fights.
Scout before choosing a route
Combat is disabled for the first 3 minutes. Check vein and Paetone Soldier density; the outer ring is usually easier to farm.
Defeat soldiers and learn income skills
Paetone Soldiers grant Frostfire XP. Prioritize skills that directly increase Orichalcum income.
Capture veins and collect the piles
A new vein creates nearby Orichalcum piles. Capture it with one march, retreat, and send the dedicated gathering march.
Contest Erupting Veins at 20 and 10 minutes
Holding an Erupting Vein for only 20 seconds gives a large payout, so move your strongest marches quickly.
Fight for the Refinery in the final 7 minutes
There is one central Refinery. If you are not strong enough to hold it, avoid repeated failed attacks; even a short hold can score.
A reliable free-to-play route
You do not need every high-level vein. Rotate between soldiers, new-vein piles, and Erupting Veins for consistent points.
Soldiers provide steady points
Keep several marches clearing Paetone Soldiers and take the skill that adds Orichalcum per defeat.
Leave a vein after the pile appears
Use one march to capture and send the rest to soldiers. Target veins carrying a Mine Guard.
Commit to Erupting Veins
Use relocation and march speed items when they appear; the short burst is more efficient than a slow ordinary vein.
Pre-position for the Refinery
Move close before the 7-minute unlock and dispatch immediately. A low-power account can still secure a few seconds.
Recommended skill route
This route maximizes Orichalcum income. Adjust it if your alliance assigns a different battlefield role.
| Level | Pick | Effect | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lv.1 | Right | +1,500 Orichalcum when defeating a Paetone Soldier. | Soldiers spawn often and can be cleared by several marches. |
| Lv.2 | Right | +25% team march speed inside the battlefield. | Reach veins, Erupting Veins, and the Refinery before rivals. |
| Lv.3 | Left | +5,000 Orichalcum when a normal vein capture succeeds, once per minute. | Successful captures are more consistent than trying to fail. |
| Lv.4 | Left | +15% Orichalcum efficiency while capturing a vein. | It amplifies the core income from both normal and erupting veins. |
| Lv.5 | Right | Rapid Gathering grants +50% gathering speed for 60 seconds; 5-minute cooldown. | Trigger it immediately after a capture to exploit the short window. |
Vein output at a glance
Central veins are richer but more contested. A lower-tier vein with uninterrupted uptime can be the better play.
| Target | Storage | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Vein Lv.1 | 8,640 | +8 / sec |
| Normal Vein Lv.2 | 17,280 | +16 / sec |
| Normal Vein Lv.3 | 34,560 | +32 / sec |
| Erupting Vein | 4,000 | +200 / sec |
Five details that raise your score
Spend movement, skills, and buffs inside the windows that actually decide the leaderboard.
High level is not always higher income
Central veins are contested. A quiet vein can produce more over the whole match.
Save march speed for key targets
March Accelerators I/II cut remaining travel time by 25%/50%; save them for erupting veins and the Refinery.
Combat buffs work here
City buffs and combat pet skills help inside the event, especially when contesting the Refinery.
Casey is a long-term investment
Upgrade Efficient Mining first; if defeats become frequent, add recovery-focused talents.
Use one dedicated pile march
The special gathering march does not use a normal slot, but it cannot collect multiple piles at once.
